Profile: Rebecca Bradley’s intention as a yoga teacher has always been to make her students feel happy and inspired after a yoga class.
Rebecca found yoga at an early age and it has taken her to some amazing places around the world. She loves to share the healing effects that yoga has to offer in her classes, workshops and retreats. She is Yoga Alliance (E-RYT500) certified after completing her Level 2 Yoga teacher training in Bali in 2012 with Shakti Spirit Yoga and Ayurveda. She trained under Rachel Hull and other inspirational teachers in Ubud, Bali to gain this challenging certification.
Qualifications achieved on this training include- intermediate and advanced yoga sequencing and adjusting, pranayama, meditation, yoga therapy, yoga philosophy, restorative yoga, senior’s yoga, ayurveda and marma point therapy. As well as being a teacher of yoga, she also holds a Marine Science degree and teaches secondary school biology in Melbourne.
Rebecca is interested in yoga therapy for injuries and disease and she is qualified to design a yoga practice which is suitable for a student’s needs or limitations. Yoga therapy as an alternative treatment for injury and disease is becoming more popular in the western world as positive results can be achieved very quickly.
Rebecca also trained with the acclaimed YogaArts teacher training in 2009 in Goa, India with Lucy Roberts and Rose Baudin. Rebecca has also been formally trained in Prana Flow sequencing under the guidance of one of her teachers – Twee Merrigan.
Rebecca is Yoga Alliance certified and has had extensive experience designing intelligent yoga classes that are aimed to strengthen tone and repair the body. Rebecca continually improves upon her yoga knowledge by attending current workshops and training and she enjoys sharing this information with her students. She is currently a student of the world renowned yoga teachers- A.G and Indra Mohan.
Rebecca holds her classes at the Parkdale Yacht Club but is also available for private tuition.
